It's Still Raining
Yesterday we headed out to the city to go to a farmer’s market type thing in Union Square. I brought my camera today, too. We left Queens and got to the Union Square stop about a half hour later to find people lining the stairs that went up to the street level. It was POURING rain. Needless to say, the farmer’s market was canceled. So we had to go outside to go to a different stop so...
Vegan Rain
So yesterday was pretty eventful.
We started out going to PS.1 MOMA in Long Island City to see the Olafur Eliason show. It was a little different than the
SFMOMA version, with some amazing things missing, but it was still cool. After we finished there, I waited in line for about an hour, or more, to get a caprese sandwich at the museum cafe. The food was really good, but the wait was insanely...
Chelsea, Papaya King, the Dakota, and the Park
Yesterday we walked quite a bit. We first went to Chelsea so I could drop off the 5 rolls of film from the trip here that i needed developed. Then we walked to the SVA student gallery in towards the water in Chelsea. The show was awesome and made me really excited to go to school there, hopefully everything works out. It was on the 15th floor and the views were really cool. We really wanted to get...
WE'RE HERE!
A LOOOOOOOOOOOONG 2 hour drive haha, and we are here! It is quite interesting driving in the city. Here until the 7th so all the rest of the updates will be with NYC pics!
Greetings From Kutztown, PA!
We left Springfield, MO around 6.30am and made it to Kutztown, PA at around 2:30am. We drove through Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and most of Pennysylvania. We also were in West Virginia for about 5 minutes (in which we got a free Frostee!). We should be in New York in about 3 hours (traffic allowing).
We didn’t really see anything too spectacular, just trying to get as far as we could. St....

Greetings From Springfield, Missouri!
So we made it as far as Springfield today. Not really in the mood to drive any further and we got a bit of a late start. Plus there were some sweet shots to get in Santa Rosa (see pic) before we left. Texas was nothing that I had expected, probably because it was too far north, but there was a CiCi’s! Endless pizza, pasta, and dessert buffet! FINALLY! After seeing all those damn commercials...
Greetings From Santa Rosa, New Mexico!
So we ended up getting to Santa Rosa, New Mexico. Thanks to the Prius, we made it just about 1000 miles and only had to fill up twice. Getting about 42MPG because of all the mountains we are going up. We were over 2000 feet up the majority of our drive in Arizona, and went up to 7000 feet in New Mexico. I always thought it was low! We are going to try and get to Saint Louis tonight, we wont be...
Tomorrow Morning...
So we are leaving tomorrow morning at 5 or 6am. We ended up renting a Prius for the trip to avoid putting miles on my poor Scion and to get better gas milage. Should be a pretty awesome trip. Hopefully the next update is from Oklahoma. We are going to try and make it there by tomorrow night. I may be taking too many pictures though haha.
